Well I see that the rest of the council are here Gideon! I guess we should take our places.
I hope this will be fairly quick this evening Tolmen, I have other buisness later.
I have a feeling it will take a while this evening. I hear there is some news from the Regents in Europe. I do believe it is your turn to sit as head of council Tonya. Would you care to start the meeting?
It would be my pleasure Lord Yewstaff. Are you ready to record the meeting Mr. Reeds?
Yes my lady! As always it would be my honor!
I, Tonya Faust, as acting head of council hereby open the meeting of the council. I do believe that Freidrick has some news from the Regents in Europe. News that certainly concerns us all.
Why are you in such a hurry Freidrick?
Because dear Deidre, I want a good seat!
You know we each have our own seat.
Doesn't change the fact I like to get in my seat early.
I will never understand you humor Freidrick!
Who said I was being humorous? I like to be seated and comfy from the start. You know how these council meetings can be long at times.
I wouldn't know, I had extra padding added to my seat!
Wait, we can have that done Deidre?
Certainly, they are no rules against it.
Then why have I been sitting in that hard seat all these years?
You never thought to ask Freidrick! (giggles)
Meanwhile, in the Council Hall:
Well Gideon, how much do you want to bet that Freidrick will sulk because we beat him to the council table?
I would not want to take that bet Tolmen. Besides, he always sulks for one reason or another!
Fawn and Tanya will be here soon. I think it will be amusing if they get her before our dear friend Freidrick.
Why Tolmen, I think it's funny when you get like this. You do love seeing Freidrick pout at times do you not?
Not at all Gideon, I quite like the fellow. I just think it funny how Tanya gets annoyed at him sulking. He only does it to see her reaction. (smiles)
Wait, you mean he isn't upset when he is not the first in his council seat?
Not at all. He has just been playing his little game all these years.
Does Deidre know this Tolmen?
No she does not. Freidrick just likes her company. He knows she doesn't want him walking in alone to the council hall. (grins)
So it has been brought to my attention that I have not written anything in many years. I used to write a lot in my early years and I miss it now. So thanks to a few friends, I have put together an idea for a series. The title of the first part will be titled Elysium Rule. Here are the basics. It will revolve around the Elysium Conclave, a group formed after the war folowwing the Fall of the Angels. The Conclave is made up of "super natural" beings that fought to preserve the Earth. They are as follows:
Freidrick Locke; Lycan council member. Male
Fawn Reign; Elven council member. Female
Deidre Stohl; Fey council member. Female
Tanya Faust; Vampire council member. Female
Lord Tolmen Yewstaff; Elder Druid council member. Male
Gideon Holmes; Nephilim council member. Male
Malcolm Reeds; Human observer. Male
Each was chosen by a vote among all the "super natural" races to head the Elysium Council. Their duties are to see that the Laws of Elysium are followed. The human observer was chosen by by the council by a secret ballot. How the names were chosen is unknown. His main job is to record all meetings of the council and ensure the rules of Council are enforced. Although Malcolm is not part of the voting council, he is allowed to speak on all matters.
The first part of this series will be taking place in modern times with flashbacks to previous eras! Hope you all will enjoy!
